Becoming ONE: An Experiential Marriage Retreat

Three days. One marriage. A deeper connection.

How Do You Think?
“As he thinks in his heart, so is he.” — Proverbs 23:7

Retreat Purpose

Becoming ONE is not designed to be a weekend of sitting in meetings talking about marriage.

Don’t just talk about your marriage. Experience it.

Couples will worship, explore their relationship through Prepare/Enrich, navigate real teamwork challenges, cook and hike together, take aim together, get on the water together, slow down together, pray together, and leave with a plan for becoming ONE.

Throughout the weekend, couples will be challenged:

Can we think, communicate, pray, solve problems, and move through life as ONE?

Rest, reconnect, and stay close to nature

Glamping-style lodging at Camp Tahuaya

Couples will stay in furnished, climate-controlled glamping accommodations surrounded by the peaceful natural setting of Camp Tahuaya. Shared gathering spaces make it easy to connect with other couples, while each lodging space offers room to slow down, rest, pray, and reconnect.

Couples are responsible for their own meals. You may bring a cooler, use the outdoor grill, or bring an electric grill for your lodging.

Shared experiences with purpose

Move, reflect, and grow together

Every challenge is designed to reveal how a couple communicates, responds, trusts, leads, follows, and moves together.

Becoming ONE

The Retreat Experience

The weekend will help husbands and wives strengthen their covenant, understand one another more deeply, confront unhealthy patterns, grow spiritually together, and practice becoming one through real experiences.

At RGF, we believe marriage requires two people to learn how to think, communicate, trust, persevere, sacrifice, forgive, listen, and move together as one.

“How Do You Think?”As a man thinks, so is he.

We will explore how individual thought patterns, assumptions, wounds, expectations, communication styles, and spiritual perspectives influence the marriage. Outdoor experiences are intentionally woven into the retreat as places to practice what couples are learning—not treated as recreation or free time.
